Rocky Coyle

Hitting Guru and Humanitarian

Rocky was a star player at the University of Arizona and played professionally for the Oakland Athletics and Toronto Bluejays.

"I began my 4 Life non-profit program twenty years ago when I began my professional baseball career. Wherever I played, I saw faces of the youth of our nation and how so many were hurting. I realized that as a professional athlete, God had blessed me with a platform that could reach the youth.
I believe that with sports as a teaching tool we can influence the way in which youth function within our society. Our goal is to equip our youth with the requisite tools that will empower them to become functional, positive, emotionally and spiritually balanced adults for their entire life. Philosophies aligned from day one, I am pleased to join the Drive Me Further cause."

Rocky has been a prominet instructor and mentor for 20+ years. In addition to adopting 5 children, he has developed many notable players who have scholarshiped to college and/or played professionally.

His players have signed with Alabama, UNC, NC State, High Point, UNCG, Wake Forest, UNC Wilmington, UNC Asheville, MIT, East Carolina, UNC Charlotte, NC Central, NC A&T
